CARSON, Calif. (Thursday, April 10, 2014) - Chivas USA announced today that the club has waived midfielder Daniel Fragoso and defender Andrew Ribeiro. Fragoso, 31, registered two games in Major League Soccer coming in as a substitute against Chicago Fire and Vancouver Whitecaps. Ribeiro, 23, has yet to make his professional debut in MLS.
Chivas USA will continue their four-game stretch against Western Conference opponents on Saturday when they travel to face the Portland Timbers at Providence Park. The 7:30 p.m. (PT) match will mark the first leg in the three-game season series and can be heard live on ESPN Deportes Radio KWKU 1220 AM.
