
MLS Issues Disciplinary Committee Decisions: Week 5
April 10, 2014 - Major League Soccer (MLS) News Release
NEW YORK (April 10, 2014) - The MLS Disciplinary Committee has suspended D.C. United midfielder Lewis Neal one game and fined him an undisclosed amount for serious foul play that endangers the safety of an opponent against New England Revolution defender Andrew Farrell in the 4th minute of the game on April 5 ( VIDEO ).
In addition, MLS Commissioner Don Garber today fined New England Revolution head coach Jay Heaps an undisclosed amount for his dismissal in the 89th minute of the game on April 5. As per MLS competition policy, Heaps will miss New England's next game.
