In the most recent meeting between these teams, Chivas USA posted a 2-0 shutout victory at home inside The Home Depot Center last July 6, completing the two-game season sweep of the Earthquakes. The Goats got a pair of second-half goals by Ben Zemanski in the 64th minute and fellow midfielder Nick LaBrocca in the 84th. Zemanski's was a bending, long-range strike from 30 yards after coming on as a substitute just six minutes prior. Jon Busch wound up with six saves for San Jose, while counterpart Dan Kennedy made three stops in notching the clean sheet for Chivas USA.

Off the injury list, Lahoud is ready to make an impact for Goats After a lengthy stay on the injury list to start the season, Chivas USA midfielder Michael Lahoud is champing at the bit to return to action for the Rojiblancos.Fresh off recovering from a left hamstring strain that kept him sidelined for the first two months of the season, the 25-year-old winger made his season debut last week against the Chicago Fire, going nine minutes in a disappointing 2-1 stoppagetime defeat.

Forward Alejandro Moreno has five goals and three assists in 15 games against his former team, including one goal in his lone appearance as a Chivas USA player, the first-half stoppage-time equalizer during a 2-1 Goats victory last April 23 at Buck Shaw Stadium ... Forward Juan Pablo Angel has one goal in six all-time meetings, for the New York Red Bulls in 2009 ... Midfielder Nick LaBrocca has one goal and one assist in seven games, including one goal (7/6/11) in two appearances with Chivas USA ... Midfielder Ben Zemanski has one goal in three games ... Defender Heath Pearce has three assists in five games, including one assist (4/23) in two match-ups a year ago for Chivas USA ... Midfielders Blair Gavin (two games) and Michael Lahoud (four) each have one assist from 2010 ... Goalkeeper Dan Kennedy is a perfect 3-0-0 with two shutouts, all with Chivas USA.
