CARSON, Calif. (Thursday, April 7, 2011) - The Aquarium of the Pacific will present Chivas USA with its "Heritage Award" at a special event this Friday night, honoring the team for its strong commitment to making a difference in the community and for its 2011 Greener Goals environmental awareness campaign. Chivas USA will be presented with the award at the Aquarium's special "Noche de Estrellas" event, which runs from 6:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. on Friday night at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. Hundreds of families and members of the community are expected to attend the unique event that will feature live Latin music, DJs, dancing, diver and animal shows, scavenger hunts with prizes, and much more.

In addition to accepting the award, Chivas USA will encourage families to learn more about how to protect our ocean, both by visiting the Aquarium to learn about its programs, and joining community efforts, like Chivas USA's first-ever Beach Clean Up Day on Saturday, April 16.
