Chivas USA Set to Face L.A. Blues in Fifth Preseason Match

CARSON, Calif. (Monday, February 11, 2013) - Chivas USA looks to stay unbeaten in preseason competition under new Head Coach Jose Luis Sanchez Sola "El Chelis," as it faces the L.A. Blues on Tuesday, Feb. 12, at The Home Depot Center's Field 6 beginning at 11 a.m. (PT). The Rojiblancos are in their fifth week of preseason camp under Sanchez Sola.

Chivas USA defeated Korean League side Gangwon FC, 7-3, last Saturday for its third preseason victory, highlighted by Miller Bolaños, Jose Correa and Tristan Bowen, who had two goals apiece for the Red-and-White. The match was also highlighted by the preseason scrimmage debut of goalkeeper Dan Kennedy, who played the entire final period in goal for the Rebaño Angelino.

The match is open to members of the media and fans. Those planning on attending should enter through The HDC's Gate A and receive instructions from stadium attendants regarding parking upon arrival.
