
Chiles' Hat-Trick Leads San Diego to Come-From-Behind 6-5 Win over Ontario

SAN DIEGO -- Kraig Chiles broke a 5-5 tie with 3:37 remaining to lead the San Diego Sockers to a 6-5 come-from-behind victory over the Ontario Fury at Ron Newman Field at Pechanga Arena on Friday night. Felipe Gonzalez scored two goals and Luis "Pee Wee" Ortega added another marker to bring the Sockers back from a 3-0 first-half deficit. Boris Pardo made 10 saves to earn the win in goal. The Fury were led by Adrien Perez's two goals, while goalkeeper Chris Toth took another loss against his former team despite making with 16 saves.
The Sockers continue their four-game homestand on Sunday, January 13, 5:05 p.m. against the El Paso Coyotes at Ron Newman Field at Pechanga Arena San Diego. It will be Wild West Country Night with fans receiving a Free Sockers Mini Cowbell while supplies last.
