Chiefs Win Second In A Row

Johnstown, PA- The Johnstown Chiefs picked up their second win a row, as they defeated the visiting Dayton Bombers 4-2, Sunday afternoon at the War Memorial.

Jeff Sullivan, Sam St. Pierre, Shawn Mather, and Steve Hildenbrand all scored for the Chiefs. Tim Branham added two assists. Jamie Ling and Fred Slukynsky scored for the Bombers.

Chiefs goaltender Peter Aubry picked up his 18th win of the season making 12 saves. Dayton goaltender Shane Bendera made 24 saves in the contest.

The Chiefs improve to 23-29-9 on the season, and the Bombers fall to 19-31-10.

Saturday night the Chiefs will travel down the Pennsylvania Turnpike when they face the Reading Royals. The Chiefs return to War Memorial ice next Sunday afternoon when they take on the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are still available at the War Memorial box office, or by calling (814) 536-5156 or 1-800-CHF-TIXX.
