Chiefs Sign 2022 9th Round WHL Prospects Pick Dane Pyatt

Spokane, Wash. - The Spokane Chiefs are proud to announce that 2022 9th Round WHL Prospects pick Dane Pyatt has signed a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement. Pyatt, born in 2007 was selected 181st overall in the 2022 WHL Prospects Draft.

Chiefs' General Manager Matt Bardsley has been impressed with Pyatt's development so far, "Dane has made real good strides in his game this season. He has displayed a strong compete level in all areas off the ice which makes him a difficult player to play against. He possesses a nice release on his shot along with good speed on the attack."

The Langley, B.C. prospect has tallied 16 points in 22 games played for the Delta Hockey Academy U18 Prep team so far this season, scoring five goals and providing 11 assists. Over the course of the 22-23 season with the U17 squad, Pyatt recorded 33 points (18G, 15A) across 32 games played.
