Syracuse Mets News Release
Tuesday's game between the Syracuse Chiefs, the Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, and the Rochester Red Wings has been postponed due to inclement weather at Rochester's Frontier Field. The game will be made up on Thursday in Rochester as part of a doubleheader beginning at 11:35 AM.
Left-hander John Lannan was scheduled to start for the Chiefs on Tuesday. Left-hander Zach Duke and right-hander Mitch Atkins are the scheduled starters for the following two games of the series.
The Chiefs will return home after a three-game series with Rochester on Friday, April 27, for a four-game series against the Charlotte Knights. Tickets for that series, along with all other home games, can be purchased at syracusechiefs.com, by calling 315-474-7833 or at the stadium box office during normal business hours.
