Chiefs Lose 3-1

Johnstown, PA- The Johnstown Chiefs five game winning streak came to halt tonight, as the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies handed them a 3-1 loss at the War Memorial. It was the Chiefs first loss since February 22nd.

All the scoring was done in the first period as Chris Paradise, Stefan Rivard, and Jade Galbraith scored for the Bullies. The Chiefs lone bright spot came when Lukas Smital scored and moved past Bruce Coles as the Chiefs all-time leading goal scorer (107).

Bullies goaltender Matt Yeats made 14 saves for his 19th win of the season, while Chiefs goaltender Mark Scally suffered the loss making 30 saves.

The Chiefs fall to 26-30-9, while the Bullies improve to 37-15-12.

Tomorrow night the Chiefs host the Trenton Titans. Face-off is at 7:30 p.m. The game is also Fox 8/ABC 23 puck night. The first 1,000 people will receive a Johnstown Chiefs puck, courtesy of Fox 8/ABC 23, Vittone Eye Surgeons, and EM's Subs.
