
Chiefs Kick off Round One on the Road vs Cougars Friday

Prince George, B.C. - The Spokane Chiefs (8) will take on the Prince George Cougars (1) in Round One of the 2024 WHL Playoffs, with game one set for Friday night in Prince George. The Chiefs went 2-1-1-0 against the Cougars this season, with three of those meetings being decided by a single goal and two requiring overtime.
This will be the fourth time these clubs have met in the postseason, with Spokane winning the most recent best-of-seven matchup 4-1 in the 2000 Western Conference Finals. Before that, Spokane also won a best-of-five series over Prince George in the second round of the 1998 WHL Playoffs.
