The Peoria Chiefs dropped the middle game of a three-game series with the visiting West Michigan Whitecaps 5-1 on Tuesday night at O'Brien Field. The loss drops the Chiefs to 5-8 on the year and snaps a four-game losing streak for West Michigan. Read More
Players of the Day - Blake Lalli (C): Blake Lalli went 1-for-4 in the game with a double and drove in the only Chiefs run. Lalli also threw out his first runner of the season behind the plate in the ninth inning. Blake has now hit safely in four straight games.
