Johnstown, PA (April 1, 2007) - The Johnstown Chiefs beat the Cincinnati Cyclones 2-1 in overtime at the Cambria County War Memorial Arena on Sunday.

After a scoreless first period, Johnstown got on the board when Zbynek Hrdel netted his 12th goal of the year at 8:33 of the second period. Hrdel beat Cincinnati goalie Scott Tomes low to the glove side picking up the rebound of a shot by Ian MacLean.

Cincinnati tied it up at 7:22 of the third when Jean Michel Daoust put the puck past Chiefs goaltender Ryan Munce for his 31st goal of the year and seventh of the year against the Chiefs. Rory Rawlyk and Greg Stewart tallied assists on the goal.

Then in overtime, with 19 seconds remaining on a high-sticking minor to Cincinnati's Nick Martens, Gus Katsuras won the opening faceoff back to Bryan Nathe, and drove to the net. Zybnek Hrdel took a pass from Nathe and found Katsuras open on the backdoor who slid it into a wide open net.
