Johnstown, PA (February 11, 2007) - The Johnstown Chiefs defeated the Reading Royals by a score of 5-2 at the Cambria County War Memorial today located in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

Brett Smith opened up the scoring for Reading at 0:52 of the first, beating Ryan Munce on a one-timer off of a drop pass from Greg Hogeboom.

The game remained scoreless until Maxime Boisclair poked a loose puck past goaltender Readgin goaltender Jeff Pietrasiak at 4:22 of the third period. Gus Katsuras tipped a soit from the point by Bryan Nathe past Pietrasiak to give the Chiefs a 2-1 lead at 8:12 of the third period.

Reading would draw the score even when Greg Hogeboom answered with a shot from the right wing half wall at 12:08 tying the score at 2-2.

Randy Rowe drove the net and put a wrist shot past Pietrasiak at 13:13, and Adam Henrich followed with two goals of his own as the Chiefs hung on to win 5-2. The Chiefs were 1-for-8 on the power play and Ryan Munce stopped 24-of-26 shots to earn the win for Johnstown.

All fans in attendance next Saturday will have the opportunity to be a part of the Chiefs team photo after the game! The photos will be printed and distributed on March 25.
