Johnstown, PA- Down 3-1 in the third period to the Dayton Bombers, the Johnstown Chiefs stormed back to tie the game 3-3 at the end of regulation and then win the game 4-3 in a shootout,t Saturday night at the War Memorial.

Vladimir Nemec opened the scoring for the Chiefs in the first period for his team leading sixth goal of the season. Dayton would storm back scoring three second period goals including two on the power play by Andrew Williamson. Torrey DiRoberto also scored for the Bombers.

Chiefs defenseman Pierre-Luc Courchesne scored his second goal in as many nights 2:54 into the third period. Then with 3:00 left to play Phil Roy tied the game with his 4th goal of the season. The two teams would battle through overtime and into a shootout with the Chiefs defeating the Bombers 2-1 in the extra frame.

Chiefs goaltender Dany Dallaire picked up his second win of the season making 21 saves. Shane Bendera made 30 saves in between the pipes for the Bombers.

The Chiefs improve to 5-5-0 on the season, while the Bombers are now 2-6-2.

The Chiefs are back in action Friday night at the War Memorial when they take on the Wheeling Nailers at 7:30 p.m.
