
Chiefs at Vancouver on FSN Northwest Tuesday

The Spokane Chiefs have taken off for their final two games of a four game road swing with a trip to Vancouver and Kamloops on Tuesday and Wednesday night. Tuesday night's game can be seen live on FSN Northwest (Comcast channel 32) beginning at 7:00. Both games can be heard live on 1510 KGA with Comcast Hockey Tonight starting at 6:30.
The road trip is also a start to a four game in five night stretch for the Chiefs that includes back-to-back home games on Friday and Saturday night against Portland and Tri-City, respectively. The lower level for Friday night's Comcast Jersey Off the Back Night Auction is sold out while less than 1,000 tickets remain for Saturday night's Breast Cancer Awareness Night presented by Covey Run Winery, Spokane's River 99.9 and KXLY 4.

The Chiefs will make their first and only trip to Vancouver in their second meeting of the year with the Western Conference leading Giants. Vancouver defeated the Chiefs 4-0 in Spokane on February 6th. Spokane was 4-4 on the penalty kill and 0-2 on the power play. Spokane defeated Vancouver in second round of last spring's WHL Playoffs. Ondrej Roman had two goals and eight points in the series and finished with a +7. Dustin Tokarski was 4-2 with a 1.67 GAA and .934 save percentage. Spokane scored the first goal of the series in five of the six games. In their two game regular season series last year, the road team won both games.
Spokane will then play at Kamloops for the first time since September 30th. The Chiefs are 2-1 on the season versus the Blazers. Kamloops handed the Chiefs a 4-2 loss on November 29th in the Spokane Arena in their last meeting of the year. Tyler Johnson and Jared Spurgeon scored for Spokane as the Chiefs outshot Kamloops 42-32. Spokane earned a 5-2 win on October 17th. Drayson Bowman had two goals and an assist and Mitch Wahl and Jared Spurgeon each had two helpers in the win. The Chiefs scored six goals on September 30th in their first meeting of the year in Kamloops in a 6-2 win. Bowman scored twice and had two assists as the Chiefs outshot the Blazers 35-32. Spokane has outshot Kamloops, on average, 40.3-29.7.
