
Bell To Join Pats For Remainder Of Season

Regina, Saskatchewan - The Regina Pats first round pick from the 2008 WHL Bantam Draft, Myles Bell will join the blue and white for the rest of the 2008-09 regular season, and playoffs. His midget-AAA season ended this weekend as his Calgary Northwest Flames were eliminated in the first round of the AMHL playoffs by the Calgary Buffaloes.
With the Flames this season, Bell played in 25 games with 6 goals, 9 assists for 15 points as well as collecting 67 penalty minutes. Bell was also named to the AMHL all-star game for Team South, but had to miss it with a shoulder injury.
In two games this season with the Pats, Bell picked up an assist against the Chilliwack Bruins.

Bell will join the Pats Wednesday in Calgary for the nationally broadcasted match-up against the Hitmen, play in Cranbrook Friday and will make his home debut Sunday night against the Lethbridge Hurricanes. With his educational commitments, Bell will spend the bulk of his weekdays at his home in Calgary, while joining the Pats for selected practices and weekend games.
