Syracuse Mets News Release
The Syracuse Chiefs, Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, have announced the postponement of Friday night's game with the Lehigh Valley IronPigs. Steady rain moved through the area Friday evening and was scheduled to continue throughout the night and into the morning.
The Chiefs entered Friday's action with 70 wins, just three-and-a-half games behind first place Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. The SWB Yankees will be in town on Monday and Tuesday.
Friday's game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on August 29th at 5 PM.
