Chicago, Ill. - The Chicago Red Stars and Sloan, the leading manufacturer of commercial plumbing systems, today entered into a multiyear partnership that will see the Franklin Park-headquartered company become the club's official water efficiency partner and jersey sponsor.
"Partnering with a massive global brand like Sloan further solidifies the Red Stars as a club on the rise with a brilliant future," said Vicky Lynch, Chief Business Officer, Chicago Red Stars. "Like the Red Stars, Sloan is Chicago through and through, so we are proud to welcome them to our family. They will play a significant role in propelling the club forward, and we are excited to reward their belief in us as we help with their sustainability and water efficiency efforts."
"Sloan is proud to partner with the Chicago Red Stars, a premiere club in the National Women's Soccer League," said Peggy Gilmore, Director of Experiential Marketing, Sloan. "We are excited to join the Red Stars as partners in growing both their club and the game and providing more opportunities for women to achieve their goals of becoming professional athletes. The Red Stars partnership is a great addition to our experiential marketing opportunities that we have with our customers."
Starting this season, Sloan's logo will be featured below the players' numbers on the Red Stars' jerseys. In addition to the jersey branding, Sloan will be the presenting partner for the club's Go Green match in August.
Sloan has been committed to sustainability since its inception over a century ago. Its wide array of products, such as flushometers, faucets, water closets, and urinals, have been meticulously developed with sustainability and water conservation in mind. In addition to the Red Stars, Sloan is also the proud water efficiency partner of the Chicago Cubs.
"At Sloan, sustainability is at the core of what we do," said Jim Allen, co-president and CEO, Sloan. "Our first Royal® Flushometer was invented here in Chicago in 1906 as a water-savings device, and today our products continue to promote water conservation in facilities around the globe. Our partnership with the Chicago Red Stars is an important step in a joint commitment to help people lead healthier lives."
The Red Stars' partnership with Sloan adds to the club's other major partnerships, many of which have ties to Illinois or Chicago, further emphasizing the club's commitment to the surrounding community.
