
Chicago Fire Midfielder Patrick Nyarko Undergoes Successful Ankle Procedure

CHICAGO - Chicago Fire midfielder Patrick Nyarko underwent a successful procedure to remove a bone spur from his left ankle Thursday morning.
The procedure was performed by Dr. Anand Vora of the Illinois Bone and Joint Institute.
The 28-year-old midfielder is currently recovering from a sprained knee that he suffered against Sporting Kansas City on May 18.
Nyarko has scored one goal and tallied two assists in nine matches this season.
The Fire return to action when they host the LA Galaxy at Toyota Park on Sunday, June 1 at 3 p.m. CT (My50/TWCSC Wisconsin/La Ley 107.9 FM). Tickets for the match, presented by Quaker, are available via Ticketmaster, www.Chicago-Fire.com or by calling 888-MLS-FIRE.
