
MLS Issues Disciplinary Committee Decisions: Week 12

NEW YORK (May 29, 2014) -The MLS Disciplinary Committee has determined that Vancouver Whitecaps FC and Seattle Sounders FC violated the League's mass confrontation policy in the 51st minute of their game on May 24. Both teams received an official warning for their first violations of the season. Additionally, the Committee fined Vancouver midfielder Pedro Morales and Seattle forward Chad Barrett an undisclosed amount for contact to the head of an opponent and escalating the incident, respectively.
MLS Commissioner Don Garber fined Toronto FC head coach Ryan Nelsen an undisclosed amount for public criticism after the May 23 game against Sporting Kansas City.
