New England Revolution News Release
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Revolution today loaned midfielder/defender Donnie Smith to the Rochester Rhinos, the team's USL PRO affiliate. Smith has been loaned for Rochester's home match against the Richmond Kickers tomorrow, and he is expected to return to the Revs on Sunday.
In his previous short-term loan to Rochester, Smith made three appearances from April 27 to May 3. Smith has two career MLS appearances - both starts - with the last coming on March 15, 2014, at Philadelphia.
Smith joins three other Revs players already on long-term loan in Rochester: defender Jossimar Sanchez, goalkeeperLuis Soffner and midfielder Alec Sundly.
