Two Chicago Fire FC Players Named to Youth National Team Rosters for Upcoming FIFA International Window

CHICAGO - Two Chicago Fire FC players were called up represent their national team at the youth age level during the FIFA International Window in September and October. Defender Noah Allen has been called to the Greece U-21 Men's National Team for upcoming UEFA U-21 Championship qualifiers and midfielder Robert Turdean has been called to the U.S. U-17 Men's National Team for an upcoming International Training Camp in Marbella, Spain.

Greece is currently in second place in the Group F standings, tied on points with Germany (18 points) but with one fewer goal in goal differential. Greece travels to face Georgia at 10:00 a.m. CT on Saturday, Sept. 26, at Mikheil Meskhi Stadium in Tbilisi, Georgia, before hosting Latvia at 10:00 a.m. CT on Thursday, Oct. 1, at the Municipal Stadium of Livadia in Livadia, Greece. Allen and his teammates will close out this leg of qualifying against Northern Ireland at 11:00 a.m. CT on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at Mourneview Park in Lurgan, Northern Ireland.

Allen has eight caps with the Greece U-21 Men's National Team, including seven in UEFA Euro Under-21 qualification. He joined Chicago earlier this month just prior to the close of the Secondary Transfer Window. Since then, he has appeared in all four matches for which he has been available for the Men in Red, including three starts.

Robert Turdean

The U-17 USMNT will play three matches during the camp under head coach Alex Aldaz, beginning with a match against the Republic of Ireland on Wednesday, Sept. 30 at the Banus Football Center. The U.S. will next face Norway on Saturday, Oct. 3, before rounding out camp against the Netherlands on Tuesday, Oct. 6.

Turdean signed a first-team contract as a Homegrown Player in January 2025 to become the youngest field player signing in Club history and the 10th youngest field player acquisition in MLS History. Turdean made his first-team debut in Leagues Cup 2026, starting and playing the first half of the 3-1 win against Santos Laguna on Sunday, Aug. 9.

Chicago closes out a two-game road stretch in the South, heading to North Carolina to face Charlotte FC at 6:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, Sept. 26, at Bank of America Stadium. The match will be broadcast globally on Apple TV, and transmitted locally on wlsam.com in English and TUDN Chicago 106.7-HD2 and Uforia by TREBEL app in Spanish.
