Chicago Fire, Magellan Corporation Sign New Partnership

CHICAGO (March 9, 2015) - The Chicago Fire Soccer Club and Magellan Corporation today announced a new, multi-year partnership that will see the global specialty steel distributor and their charitable partners become a prominent presence at Fire home matches. Through the partnership, Magellan and select philanthropic benefactors will receive match day consideration throughout the stadium, including LED boards, locker room branding and be prominently displayed on newly designed home and away benches with luxury racing-style seating. Magellan was also the presenting partner of the Fire's Season Kickoff Luncheon. The deal was renewed and expanded a year before a previous deal had concluded.

"Through off-season discussions, we determined that there were specific ways in which we could continue to build upon our partnership. We can't wait to put those plans into action."

Magellan Corporation is a leading global distributor of high quality specialty steel products. The Deerfield, Ill. based company operates distribution facilities in Chicago and Houston. Founded in 1985, the company has fostered a unique corporate culture that places philanthropy and community service at the core of its identity.

Through the agreement, branding and hospitality consideration has also been provided to La Rabida Children's Hospital, Old Town School of Folk Music, Gilda's Club Chicago, and the DuSable Museum.
