
Chicago Fire Acquire 2014 MLS SuperDraft Pick from Real Salt Lake

CHICAGO, Ill. (June 27, 2012) - The Chicago Fire Soccer Club announced Wednesday that the club has traded defender Kwame Watson-Siriboe to Real Salt Lake in exchange for RSL's 4th round natural selection in the 2014 MLS SuperDraft.
"We want to thank Kwame for his contributions to the Chicago Fire and wish him the best of luck as he enters the next phase of his career," said Fire Head Coach Frank Klopas.
A product of Chino Hills, Calif., Watson-Siriboe departs Chicago after two-and-a-half seasons with the Men in Red. Selected 26th overall in the second round of the 2010 MLS SuperDraft, Watson-Siriboe appeared in 10 matches during his rookie campaign, starting seven for a total of 681 minutes.
Watson-Siriboe spent the 2011 season on a season-long loan to North American Soccer League side FC Tampa Bay, where he appeared in 10 matches. He has not featured in a first team match this year.
