Chicago Cubs Owner Visits Boise Today

Just a reminder that Chicago Cubs owner Tom Ricketts is visiting Boise today, Monday August 15. A press conference will be held at the Boise Chamber of Commerce, 250 S. Fifth Street in Boise at 3:00 pm this afternoon. Mr. Ricketts will be assessing the Boise Hawks facilities on his visit, as well as meeting with Better Boise Coalition. The Coalition is working on an evaluation of potential sites for a new, multi-purpose stadium for Boise.

Mayor David Bieter plans to declare today "Chicago Cubs Day" in Boise. The media, fans, and citizens of Boise are cordially invited to meet with the Cubs' Chairman and principal owner during the scheduled press conference and reception to follow.
