Checkers Announce 2015-16 Home Opener at Bojangles' Coliseum

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Charlotte Checkers today announced that their first home game of the 2015-16 season at Bojangles' Coliseum will take place on Saturday, Nov. 7. A start time will be announced at a later date.
The game will mark the first time the Checkers have played at the venue since moving to Time Warner Cable Arena prior to the 2005-06 season. Between now and that time, construction will take place on the first phase of the $16 million in renovations approved by the Charlotte City Council in November 2014, which include upgrades to the video board, lighting, sound system, seating bowl and player amenities.
Season tickets for the 2015-16 at Bojangles' Coliseum are available now at a reduced rate by calling (704) 342-4423 or visiting gocheckers.com. The Checkers currently have four home games remaining on their 2014-15 schedule, which will be their last-ever games at Time Warner Cable Arena.
The Checkers' full 2015-16 schedule will be announced this summer.
