Chicago's Ty Rattie Named CCM/AHL Player of the Week

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League announced today that Chicago Wolves right wing Ty Rattie has been selected as the CCM/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending Mar. 29, 2015.
Rattie helped the Wolves climb from 11th place in the Western Conference on Friday morning to seventh place by the end of the weekend, scoring two goals and adding five assists for seven points in three Chicago victories.
On Friday in Milwaukee, Rattie set up the game-winning goal as part of a two-assist night as the Wolves doubled up the Admirals, 8-4. In Saturday's rematch, Rattie scored once and assisted on the overtime winner as Chicago got past Milwaukee, 3-2. And on Sunday afternoon, Rattie notched two more assists before scoring the game-winning goal in the third period of a 3-2 victory over Iowa.
A second-round draft choice by St. Louis (32nd overall) in 2011, Rattie has recorded 21 goals and 21 assists for 42 points in 59 games with the Wolves this season after tying for the AHL lead in goals among rookies (31) in 2013-14. Rattie, a 22-year-old native of Airdrie, Alta., has also appeared in five games with the Blues this season, picking up his first career NHL point with an assist on Feb. 5 at Buffalo.
In recognition of his achievement, Rattie will be presented with an etched crystal award prior to an upcoming Wolves home game.
