Chartier Released Back to Kelowna from San Jose
Published on September 23, 2015 under Western Hockey League (WHL)
Kelowna Rockets News Release
Rourke Chartier is coming back to Kelowna.
The Rockets veteran has been returned to the Rockets from the San Jose Sharks after playing in Tuesday night's NHL exhibition game against the Vancouver Canucks.
Chartier, 19, was a fifth round pick of the Sharks in 2014. The native of Saskatoon will be going into his fourth season with the Rockets, coming off last year's campaign that saw him score 48 goals in 58 games.
That leaves just Devante Stephens as a Rockets player expected to return to Kelowna but whom remains at an NHL camp. Stephens is with the Buffalo Sabres.
