Estephan Re-Assigned by Sabres

LETHBRIDGE, AB - The Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Club will have 1997-born forward Giorgio Estephan back as they get set for the Dairy Queen Home Opener against the Medicine Hat Tigers on Friday at the ENMAX Centre after being re-assigned by the Buffalo Sabres Wednesday.

Estephan, who was drafted by the Sabres in the sixth round of the June NHL Entry Draft, will join the Hurricanes who are currently carrying 14 other forwards. The Edmonton, Alberta product had a breakout season in 2014-2015 scoring 51 points (23g-28a) along with 18 penalty minutes in 64 games in his second full year in the Western Hockey League.

The Hurricanes will open the 2015-2016 regular season on Friday night when they welcome the Medicine Hat Tigers at the ENMAX Centre in the Dairy Queen Home Opener. There will be a tailgate party beginning at 5:00pm with a by donation Bar-B-Que providing burgers and water courtesy of Mr. Mikes SteakhouseCasual - all proceeds of the BBQ will go to the United Way.
