Charlotte Independence News Release
CHARLOTTE (August 14, 2020) - Due to the extension of Governor Cooper's Phase 2 requirements regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, the Charlotte Independence regretfully will not be allowed to have fans at their home games until further notice. If the conditions change and the Governor and Mecklenburg County allows for fans to join us, we will inform you at the earliest possible moment.
The Independence would like to thank our partners at Novant Health as well as all our community leaders, advocates, medical staff and volunteers that help on the front lines in our battle against Covid-19.
Stay safe and we invite you to enjoy all of our games live as they are played on ESPN+.
