
Charlotte FC Sign Goalkeeper Isaac Walker from University of Kentucky

Charlotte, NC - Charlotte FC today announced the Club has signed goalkeeper Isaac Walker from the University of Kentucky on a semi guaranteed deal for the 2023 season.
Walker joined Charlotte FC for preseason preparations.
"Isaac was a good addition throughout the preseason and proved that he deserves a spot on the roster," said Sporting Director Zoran Krneta. "During his collegiate career, Isaac was impressive in between the posts and will help bring depth to the goalkeeper position as he continues his development in the professional ranks."
Walker, 22, joined the Kentucky Wildcats in 2022 from Western Michigan University, recording 18 shutouts throughout his collegiate career. The Florida native made 145 saves across 49 appearances in the NCAA with a .738 save percentage in five seasons.
Along with playing collegiately, Walker also spent two seasons playing for the USL League Two club Flint City Bucks where he recorded 25 appearances overall and three clean sheets in his first season.
