Charlie Weatherby Added To Lynx Roster

OTTAWA - RHP Charlie Weatherby was transferred to the Lynx roster today from Single-A Clearwater.

Weatherby, 28, had no record, a 4.88 ERA and two saves in 15 games with Clearwater this season. He has recorded 35 strikeouts, compared to only eight walks, in 31.1 innings pitched with the Threshers this season. Weatherby spent last season with Lancaster of the Independent Atlantic League, going 3-3 with 15 saves and a 3.13 ERA in 63 games for the Barnstormers. He was fourth in the League in saves (15), second in games pitched (63) and third in games finished (37).

Weatherby has a career record of 12-13 with a 3.90 ERA and 33 saves and is in his seventh professional season.
