
Champions League tickets on sale for D.C. United's home matches

Washington, D.C. (August 22, 2008) - D.C. United today announced ticket information for their CONCACAF Champions League home matches. The 3-Game Group Play Package includes tickets to all three United home matches in the group stage of play.
Packages are available at all seating levels, with prices ranging from $60 at the Spectator level, $90 at the Premium level, $120 at the VIP level and $165 at the Mezzanine level. The 3-Game package is available by calling D.C. United offices at 202-587-5000 or visiting www.dcunited.com The Black-and-Red will play in Group A of the first stage of the tournament, hosting Deportivo Saprissa (Costa Rica) on Tuesday, September 16 at 8:00 p.m., Cruz Azul (Mexico) or Hankook Verdes (Belize) on Wednesday, October 1 at 8:00 p.m., and Isidro Metapan (El Salvador) or Marathon (Honduras) on Wednesday, October 29 at 8:00 p.m. The CONCACAF Champions League will feature the best 16 teams from North America, Central America and the Caribbean in a tournament where the winner qualifies for next year's Club World Cup. D.C. United qualified for the inaugural Champions League by winning the 2007 Supporters' Shield.
