
CF Montréal Highlights Earth Day with Mission 1000 Tonnes

MONTREAL - To celebrate Earth Day, CF Montréal, in collaboration with Mission 1000 tonnes, invites its fans to join the Club's employees by organizing cleanup operations with your family and friends while respecting the sanitary protocols in place.
To do so, participants must identify with Équipe CFMTL, weight the collected waste and send the results to Mission 1000 tonnes on one of these links :

This way, CF Montréal's collective weight of waste collected for the planet will be calculated. There is no deadline to do the cleanup and you may contact your city or borough's eco-district to get more information on organized cleanups or the loan of cleaning material.
The fans are also invited to show their colours and gesture for the planet on social media by using the following hashtags: #jourdelaterre, #earthday and #CFMTL.

Mission 1000 tonnes aims to change the world by taking actions to protect marine ecosystems, such as retiring waste from rivers and oceans across the globe, while working to encourage the reduction of different sources of waste.
