CF Montréal Facing Toronto FC Saturday at BMO Field

Club de Foot Montreal News Release
TORONTO, Ontario - The final Canadian derby of the MLS calendar will be played this Sunday at BMO Field as CF Montréal (15-9-4, 2nd) visits Toronto FC (9-13-7, 10th) at 7:30pm (TVA Sports, TSN, BPM Sports, TSN 690).
Still in second place in the East, Montreal remains undefeated in its last four road games. The Club's eight away wins, 26 points and 25 goals this year are all the most it has ever amassed on the road in a single MLS season.
The Montrealers' unbeaten streak also extends against their Ontario rivals. Montreal is undefeated against Toronto FC in their last four MLS meetings. Only once in the history of the rivalry has either team swept the season head-to-head series against the other in MLS with Toronto winning both meetings in the 2019 campaign.
As for the host, Toronto will be a very different squad to the one Montreal faced last July. Since Montreal's 1-0 win on July 16 at Stade Saputo, Toronto has lost only one of its last eight games, including a 2-2 draw Wednesday against the LA Galaxy. TFC's offensive weapons have had no shortage of service either, scoring 18 goals in that same eight-game stretch.
A significant contributor to that number has been Italian international Federico Bernardeschi who has found the back of the net in all four of the home games he featured in this year. The former Juventus man has never been shut out at BMO Field since joining the club.
