
LAFC Hosts Real Salt Lake Sunday, September 4 at Banc of California Stadium

The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) will host Real Salt Lake in a Western Conference matchup on Sunday, September 4. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. PT at Banc of California Stadium. (TV: KCOP 13, Estrella 62.2 ; Radio: 710 AM ESPN / ESPN LA app and 980 AM La Mera Mera).
LAFC enters the match following a three-game losing streak for the first time this season and looks to claim three points against Salt Lake in their second meeting of the season.
LAFC remains atop of the Supporters Shield standing despite being tied in points (57) with the Philadelphia Union. The Black & Gold (18-7-3) own the tie breaker with two more wins than the Union (16-4-9).
LAFC are on a five-game winning streak against RSL and have won nine games overall in matchups vs RSL (9-0-2).
RSL currently sit in sixth place in the Western Conference standings with 42 points through 28 games played.
NEWS & NOTES
LAFC is now 18-6-4 on the season tied for a league-best 57 points with the Philadelphia Union. LAFC currently own the tiebreaker with total number of wins per match.
RSL has not lost a match in four-straight games. The last loss was vs LAFC at Rio Tinto Stadium on Aug. 6.
LAFC is on a three-game losing streak for the first time this season.
LAFC is on a five-game winning streak against RSL, which is RSL's longest losing streak against a single opponent in the club's MLS history.
Cristian Arango has scored two goals in each of his first two matches against RSL and has 14 goals scored this season.
