Cesario Reassigned
November 3, 2011 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Owen Sound Attack News Release
The Owen Sound Attack is announcing that goaltender J.P. Cesario has been re-assigned and will not be travelling with the club this weekend on their Eastern road trip to Ottawa, Belleville and Kingston.
Cesario, 18 had appeared in three games with the Attack this season, posting a 1-1 record to go along with a 3.94 GAA and a .877 save percentage.
The return of overage goaltender Scott Stajcer meant the Attack had three goaltenders on their roster. "This will give J.P. a chance to play on a regular basis." stated Attack General Manager Dale DeGray. Several Tier II teams have shown an interest in Cesario's services and he is expected to solidify a spot with a team before weeks end.
Cesario can be re-called by the Attack at any time by the organization should an injury occur to either Jordan Binnington or Scott Stajcer.
