
Petes Announce 6th Annual Holiday Fun Camp

The Peterborough Petes are proud to announce that they will be holding their 6th annual Holiday Fun Camp for hockey players age 5-12 on December 27th, 28th, 2011. The camp sponsored by Kelsey's Restaurant, Montana's Cookhouse, Canadian Tire and Ricart Trophies & Screen will be held at the Peterborough Memorial Centre in two sessions. The first session is from 9:00 - 10:30am and the second session from 10:45am - 12-15pm.
"The camp is designed to teach children age 5-12 the fundamentals of hockey in a fun environment," states Petes Assistant General Manager Aaron Garfat. "An emphasis will be placed on skills; however, our main goal is making sure the participants have fun."
Along side Head Instructor/Petes Assistant Coach Jody Hull will be members of the Peterborough Petes, one of which will be a goaltender. The Petes Players will run the drills and work on a face to face basis with all participants under the guidance of Hull.
The Peterborough Petes Holiday Fun Camp Package Includes:
Three (3) hours of on-ice instruction with Head Instructor and Petes players in a fun environment.
Holiday Fun Camp Hockey Jersey.
One (1) Free Regular Bowl Ticket to the Petes home game on January 1st Vs. the Sudbury Wolves.
Tour of the Petes Locker Room.
Certificate of Participation.
Autographs & Photos with Petes Players.
Special grab bag for all participants
The Peterborough Petes Holiday Fun Camp will be limited to the first sixty (60) registrants. "This year we have implemented an EARLYBIRD SPECIAL price of $99.99 including taxes for all participants paying before December 1st. After December 1st the cost increases to $149.99 including taxes.
