Celsi finished with five RBI (2-for-4) as Green Bay emerged from a 5-0 deficit after the first inning to bounce back for a comeback win, similar to the one on June 26th against Battle Creek in which the Bullfrogs erased a five-run deficit to win 8-7.

In the first, Luke Lind (North Dakota State) allowed six hits and surrendered five runs on RBI hits from Dan Swain (Siena), Chris Helsel (Penn State), and Dre Gleason (Austin Peay) with a sacrifice fly from Lin Li (National Taiwan Sports University). He was two pitches away (33) from breaching the Northwoods League pitch limit in an inning.

Lind battled through two shutout innings thereafter and Celsi got the first run scored in the fourth on an RBI groundout to first base. And Mikey Duarte (UC-Irvine), along with Celsi, drove in three total runs on two hits in the fifth to make it a 5-4 Bombers advantage heading to the sixth.

It would remain 5-4 in favor of Battle Creek after shutout innings of the Bullfrogs in frames 6-8 by a combination of Fred Manke (RHP/Minnesota) and submariner Evan Dunn (RHP/Pepperdine). It left Mason Marshall (RHP/BYU) who entered with an ERA of 1.17 in 12 appearances for the final frame.

In-game insert, Ty Blankmeyer (St. John's), walked to start things out followed by a single from Mikey Duarte. With two aboard, Robb Paller placed a sacrifice bunt perfectly to third advancing Blankmeyer and Duarte to scoring position. Paller was 2-for-3 with a run scored.

With one out, Danny Rosenbaum (Louisville) walked on a gutsy 3-2 take, and Ryan Donovan (Hofstra) struck out with the bases full, leading to Celsi's final go-ahead single, that he chipped to left field to drive in a pair.

Jeremy Graf (Flagler) left the game-tying run on third after giving up a lead-off hit, and earned his 8th save, tied for second in the Northwoods League.

The Bullfrogs bullpen consisting of Luke VanLanen (Valparaiso), Jack Mahan (Eckerd), Jake Stolley (Northwestern), and Jeremy Graf totaled 6IP/6H/0R/5K to close out the one-run victory.

In total, the Bullfrogs pitchers stranded a total of 15 Battle Creek runners, a Northwoods League high this season. And the teams combined for 27 total hits.

Battle Creek, MI.- Brian Celsi's (California) two-out, two RBI base hit in the ninth inning gave the Bullfrogs a 6-5 victory over the Battle Creek Bombers (14-28/1-6) as Green Bay (26-16/4-3) remains perfect, 7-0, against their South Division rival this season.

Stolley earned the win (2-0/1.06 ERA), Mason Marshall the loss (1-1/2.20ERA), and Jeremy Graf the save (8SV/2.05ERA)

Bullfrogs and Bombers duke it out for the final time on July 8th from C.O. Brown Stadium for a 6:05PM CST. Luke Syens (2.84ERA/6 1/3IP/6K-4BB) takes the mound for his first start.
