CEFCU Movie Night Series Returns to PayPal Park

SAN JOSE, Calif. - The Movie Night Series, presented by CEFCU, will return to PayPal Park for the fourth consecutive year from July 15 - August 12. The Movie Night Series will bring films to the stadium's large video board on five consecutive Thursdays, creating a family-friendly event where moviegoers of all ages can share an outdoor viewing experience. The viewing parties are free to attend by claiming a ticket at the RSVP links below. Moviegoers will be given the option to make a digital donation to the Quakes Foundation's Pledge 74 campaign, which works to fight food insecurity in the South Bay. CEFCU and the Quakes Foundation will also be accepting monetary and supply donations at the main gate of PayPal Park on each movie night, benefitting local early childhood nutrition and food security. The five movies to be featured in the 2021 Movie Nights Series are Moana (July 15), Trolls World Tour (July 22), Frozen II (July 29), Incredibles 2 (August 5), and Coco (August 12).

In 2016, Moana was nominated for Best Animated Film of the Year and Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures at the 2017 Oscars.

Trolls World Tour was launched digitally in 2020 due to health and safety mandates around the COVID-19 pandemic. As the movie sequel to the 2016 film Trolls, Trolls World Tour received an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song for Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop the Feeling!".

Frozen II was released in 2019, as the sequel to the 2013 critically acclaimed film, Frozen. Frozen II received over 85 nominations, including Best Motion Picture - Animated at the 2020 Golden Globes.

Incredibles 2 debuted in 2018 as the second installment of the popular animated superhero motion picture, The Incredibles. Released 14 years after the first film's debut, Incredibles 2 won 12 awards, including Favorite Animated Movie at the 2019 Kids' Choice Awards, and received multiple nominations including Best Motion Picture - Animated at the 2019 Golden Globes.

Released in 2017, Coco won over 150 awards and nominations. Coco's major awards include Best Animated Feature Film at the 2018 Academy Awards, Best Motion Picture - Animated at the 2018 Golden Globes, and Best Animated Feature Film at the 2018 BAFTA Awards.
