
Cedric Cattenoy to Transition to First Team Scouting Role on September 1

CHICAGO - Chicago Fire FC today announced that Academy Technical Director Cedric Cattenoy will transition to a scouting role with the first team, beginning on Thursday, Sept. 1.
Cattenoy will join the Club's global scouting department, assisting with the operations for the Fire and its partner team FC Lugano. A global search for the Club's new Academy Technical Director is now underway.
Cattenoy originally joined the Club as Academy Technical Director on Oct. 7, 2016, after spending more than 15 years with French side Paris Saint-Germain in various capacities. During Cattenoy's tenure, the Academy won its third national championship in Club history in July 2021, capturing the inaugural U-19 MLS NEXT trophy, and 12 Homegrown Players have been signed to the first team.
The Fire's next match will take place this Saturday, Aug. 27 against CF Montréal at Soldier Field. Beginning at 7:00 p.m. CT, the match will be broadcast WGN-TV and CF97 Live and transmitted locally in Spanish on TUDN 1200 AM.
