
Cedeno Tosses Boulders past Miners

The Boulders (38-42) evened the series with the first-place Miners (50-30) with a 3-1 win on Saturday night. Rockland's starter Luis Cedeno pitched a gem, giving up just one earned run while striking out ten batters in seven innings.
Rockland took the lead in the third inning on Richie Fecteau's two-run home run. Fecteau tied the league lead with his 13th homer of the season. Adam Ehrlich added an insurance run with his RBI double in the sixth inning.
The Boulders look to take the rubber game against the Miners tomorrow at Palisades Credit Union Park. First pitch is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. Kids run the bases free following the game.
