Michael Schlact (9-7; 4.43) went seven, allowing four runs, two earned, on eight hits and no walks, inducing 11 ground ball outs and Edwin Vera (2.93 ERA) pitched two hitless innings of relief, but the LumberKings were silenced at the plate, going scoreless on four hits.
Casey Benjamin went 2-4 while Craig Hurba doubled for his only hit in three at-bats. Brandon Boggs (.255 / .358 / .449) went 1-4, stealing his 12th base of the year.
