Moncton, NB - With the 2009-2010 Wildcats home opening weekend set for September 18 - 20, it's time for the Big Cat to dress up and get ready to roar.

It will all start on Friday the 18th with a Tail Gate Party featuring live entertainment on the Irving Soundstage in the Coliseum parking lot. Included will be the Cavendish Fry Cart providing complimentary fries, magic will be in the air with performances by a magician, public tours of the Wildcats bus, and for kids, face painting. The Moncton Fire Department will provide an opportunity to fans young and old to get up close and personal with fire fighting equipment. All this takes place before fans move inside the Coliseum for the start of the game with the PEI Rocket.

Downtown Moncton will truly be Cats Country on Saturday when the Cats Cup invades Main Street. 72 young Wildcats fans will participate on six separate rinks starting at 9 in the morning. The jam-packed, exciting weekend, continues with the team Bar-B-Q at the Moncton Market.

An antique car show will be part of Sunday afternoon's Tail Gate Party, humorous performances from McSweeney's Dinner Theatre and plenty of music. Long time rivals, the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles will provide the opposition.

Season seat and Flex Pack tickets along with individual game day tickets are now available. Come enjoy the fun, excitement and action of Wildcats hockey.
