It's "Meet the Cats" day :
For Season Ticket and Flex Pack holders today is the day to pick up your tickets. Starting at noon in the lobby next to the Wildcats office, the 2009-2010 season tickets will be available for pickup. Then from 5:30 to 7:30, along with local media, Season Seat and Flex Pack Holders are invited to a special "Meet the Cats" reception . One of the highlights of the afternoon reception will be a sneak preview of the new Reebook Wildcats jerseys. This year's team roster will be introduced including the much talked about Saulnier twins of Cap-Pele, along with the European imports Marek Hrivik and Kirill Kabanov. The coaching staff will be on hand to chat, players will be signing autographs, the new Wildcats jerseys will be available from the Roar Store and food concessions will cost just 99 cents. The official voice of the Wildcats, News 91.9, , will be on hand for live radio coverage after at 6 pm.

Don't miss the opportunity of being part of the spectular Home Opening Weekend. It's just over a week away, so get your Season Seat Ticket or Flex Pack this is the week and take in all the events. Either package can be purchased daily, Monday to Friday at the Cats office from 9:00 am to 6 pm, pick them up before 5:30 today, then stay for the "Meet the Cats" reception. Single game tickets for Home Opening weekend against the PEI Rocket on Friday night and the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles on Sunday afternoon are now available at the Coliseum Box Office.

Just a few more days left to register for the Cats Cup . The Big Street Hockey tournament with six rinks and 72 plays is set for Moncton's Main Street next Saturday September 19th. It's part of the Wildcats Home Opening weekend. Registration forms are now available in the Times&Transcript, L'Etoile or on the Wildcats website at www.moncton-wildcats.com. The forms can be mailed or dropped off at the offices of Downtown Moncton Centre-ville, 910 Main Street, Suite 103, Moncton, NB E1C 1G6 up to September 15th. The winners will be announced on Thursday, September 17th in the sports section of the Times&Transcript and on the Cats website
Boost the Cats with a Booster Club membership :
The 14th season of the Wildcats gets underway this Friday. You can help boost the team with a membership in the Booster Club . Application forms can be found on the Wildcats website at www.moncton-wildcats.com, click on the community icon to reach the Booster Club site, and then click the "About Us" section to obtain your application form.
You'll be an important part of the Wildcats organization with a Booster Club membership. The Club raises money for the players' education fund through its 50/50 game draws and jersey sales. The Club also contributes to other community charities such as the Mobile One Soup Kitchen, Hockey Ministries International and the Children's Wish Foundation
