
Cats Rally for 10-6 Win

The Cats rallied from behind to defeat the Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings 10-6 on Thursday night.
The Cats put a run up in the first inning, but the WhiteWings scored two runs in the second and two more in the fourth to go up 4-1.
Fort Worth came out and tied the game with a two-run fifth and one-run sixth, then busted it open with a six-run seventh.
The Cats held on to win 10-6.
Center fielder Cameron Monger and shortstop Shelby Ford both contributed with 2 RBI each.
Starting pitcher Roman Gomez went 6 innings, allowing four runs - none of which were earned.
The Cats will play game three of the four-game series with the WhiteWings on Friday at Harlingen Stadium.
The team returns home to LaGrave Field for a four-game series with the Alexandria Aces on June 30.
