
Aces Sign Trevor McDonald

The Alexandria Aces have deactivated second baseman Eddie Murray and signed utility player Trevor McDonald.
Murray, who leads the United League in games (33), walks (28), runs scored (35), and being struck by pitches (9) injured a hamstring stealing third base at the start of Wednesday's 20-11 loss at Edinburg. The UCLA product was hitting .283 with one home run and 15 RBIs and had a club-high 13 stolen bases.
McDonald, 24, hit .167 in 27 games for the Roadrunners this season. The righthanded hitter played at five different defensive positions for Edinburg, including shortstop, first base, and centerfield.
