
Cats Fall 6-5 to the Armada

The Moncton Wildcats lost a close one to the Armada on Wednesday night 6-5. This was the Wildcats first of three road games in Quebec this week.
Kelly Klima scored twice for Moncton, bringing his season total to 13. Singles went to Cam Askew and Manuel Weiderer who both have 15 goals on the year, while Wiederer continued to add to his 11 game point streak. Austin Kosack also registered a goal for the Cats, and his first in a Wildcats uniform. The Armada had 26 shots combined against starter, Sebastien Dupre, and Blade Mann-Dixon.
Wildcats forward, Conor Glarand broke a franchise record tonight as he set the all-time record for longest point streak. Conor now has points in 22 straight games this year. The previous record was held by Sebastien Roger who had a 21 game point streak.
Overall, the Wildcats record stands at 16-8-3. Their next game is Friday in Victoriaville against the Tigres, then Saturday afternoon the team travels to Shawinigan to face the Cataractes. The Wildcats next home game is Wednesday December 2nd at 7:00 p.m. against the Charlottetown Islanders.
