
Cats Come Back to Down Dogs in Port City

The Moncton Wildcats didn't let a 2-0 first period Saint John lead bother them. The Cats posted their 5th win in their last six games, storming back to take down the Sea Dogs 7-4 at TD Station.
It was certainly a collective team scoring effort with seven goal scorers - Thomas Auger, on his 18th birthday, scored his 5th and added two assists. Also potting their first goals of the season were defenseman Hugo Marcil and Jonas Taibel. Other tallies to Max Barbashev, Charles Beaudoin, Preston Lounsbury and Cole Bishop, his 3rd since joining the Wildcats.
Chipping in with two assists each were Vincent Labelle and Gabe Smith.
Goaltender Vincent Filion recorded the win and 25 saves.

Moncton's improves to 6-3-0-1 and have a few days off before hosting the Gatineau Olympiques Friday at 7pm. and then the Sea Dogs Sunday at 4 pm at Avenir Centre.
